What kind of setup are you trying to achieve? You should not need your 'localCache' bean; your 'localRegion' should be created by the client cache 'ccf'. --Jens

We are storing a objects in a local cache and bytes of that object on the server, hence the reason I needed a local cache. Are you suggesting that I create a client-region in shortcut="LOCAL" ?
